SG reporters really getting more and more out of hand. on Thursday, December 08, 2011
I .. honestly .. have no words.
I feel so angry that i can't even express it in words.
And plus the fact that they used TVXQ as an example.
I'm just gonna copy and paste one of the comments that express everything i feel.
Minhui Tim Good Morning. I feel that your article of kpop is a one-sided biased argument based on the idea that you've already set in your mind, that Kpop is liked by all these crazy fangirls. I do not agree that liking a genre of music can be called a "cult". Are you saying that The Beatles's fans who scream whenever they appear were a "cult" too? Furthermore, You are talking about TVXQ here. I admit some Kpop artistes gain popularity and album sales more by their looks than talents but have you ever listened to their Ballads and A Capella to asses their singing talents before judging? You mentioned "I had to do research for this article.." and I wonder if that research includes just a few simple clicks on Youtube. Hmm and um, PS. Red is TVXQ's fanclub, Cassiopeia's official colour. And waving those lightsticks along to the beat is the same as how perhaps, Bon Jovi fans wave their hands along to the beat of Captain Crash during their concert. Its typical pop/rock music fans behaviour so I do not see what is your problem with it there. Please do better research next time, and provide a fairer argument to do the most influential newspaper in Singapore justice.
So every fandom is called a 'cult' now?
Fyi, K-POP isn't the only one with fandoms, you know.
So i believe you're saying that Monsters, Beliebers are all cults too, because they support their favorite idol?
When i say the red ocean is no joke, i really mean it. NO. JOKE.
How dare you to insult the red ocean, much less TVXQ.
.... why did you even attend the fanparty in the first place, lady? Just so you can comment on the "negative" things your eyes set on?
Oh and comparing TVXQ &Backstreet Boys is like comparing MBLAQ and BEAST.
They're from the same generation, fuckers. Just different language.
I'm so annoyed beyond words right now.
I just hate the Singapore Media so fucking much. They treat K-pop as a joke. They treat fandoms as a no threat.
We kpop fans are being judged so harshly just because we love and support the music that's in another language.
That's just racist, yo.
"See, this is what you don't see about k-pop. Everyone stands up for each other whether or not you're part of the fandom."
We have our own reason for loving k-pop, be it emotionally or physically. K-pop has helped many of us fans through difficult situations. Who are you to judge that K-pop is just manufacture sounds and completely useless?
This article is so full of bull. SG media, shut up, seriously, just shut the fuck up.
Ugh. I'm so pissed right now readers.
Anywaiz i've updated my sidebar. Created a formspring so you readers can spam my inbox. Made a list on the side of all the concerts/showcases/arrivals i've attended.
Gave SNSD's arrival a miss today.
Have fun raiding my blog peeps! ♥
To the author, i wish you good luck dealing with all the hate comments. Because you'll need it.
Fyi, this isn't even half of what we can do.
Oh, and also the fact that Cassiopeia is one of the biggest fandom in k-pop *coughs*
Xoxo, Eezah (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚✧Labels: i'll update again once i've cooled down |
