Hello there, dear readers!
If you've managed to read everything (which was not a lot i was just exaggerating lol), congratulations, you've made it! ♥
Now, to translate my entire spazzing into a more profound way, the entire music video was a pure work of art.
The settings. The song. The genre. The costumes. The man himself. ((come on just admit it jaejoong's a fine work of art like dayummm))
First of all, the song is more of a j-rock-ish kind of genre instead of the mainstream k-pop songs we would usually listen to. Which is very impressive as it is something unique which stands out from the k-pop industry.
Many kudos to the CJES staffs for producing a magnificent work of art ((which SM would prolly puke blood all over))
As it is not obvious enough, the general theme for this video basically revolves around the goth & fantasy theme, with a number of symbolism here and there.
However, most importantly, the key message is more towards struggling and achieving freedom eventually. I'm pretty sure everyone would roughly have a grasp on what JYJ had went through over the years, trying to gain the freedom that they deserve but having SM to block their path.
Jaejoong loves to express himself. He has often been judged negatively, despite his true nature, as an individual and during the JYJ lawsuit. And with the recent case of the lawsuit finally ending after 3 years, he's bound to express all the emotions bottled up inside of him.
And what better way to express himself than through a music video and a solo mini album?
In one of the first few scenes of the video, we see Jaejoong being chained to a giant metal structure as he struggles to be free, which relates back to him being chained to SM (and probably everything else)
which later he broke free from it and dramatically throws the collar to the ground, signifying his sense of freedom.
Which brings us to the next scene.
In this scene, we see Jaejoong running towards a flock of crows. The fact that the crows are all similar and they're going to one direction can be a way of portraying himself going against the stream and doing something different. In addition, the fact that it's a slowed-motion scene probably hints that the process is slow and it can't happen in a blink of an eye. The angry-looking crows(idk they look angry to me crows always look angry to me dont judge me) can also represent the displeasing look or criticism he receives while going against the stream. (netizens... *shrugs* whatchu gonna do with them)
Last but not least, his diamond-masked scene.
Notice how we can't really see his face((wae you hide your beauty from usssss)) because his face is filled with the diamonds?
I was screaming and cringing over this scene because let's face it, i'm a obsessive fan who wants to flail over oppar's perfection. But how can i do that when i can't really see him with that bling bling all over his face?
And that's when it struck me.
A diamond-mask probably suggest a pretense mask ((lol duhh it's a mask))
A mask is normally used for disguise to hide your face. In this case, it's to hide Jaejoong's true self behind the diamond mask. And the fact that his mask is made out of diamonds suggests beauty, wealth and perfection. However, behind the mask, Jaejoong might be different, for all we know. Since most of the time we have been seeing him with the mask on.
In the music video, his expression also suggest a person being under hypnotized or controlled, with the snake crawling over his neck and shoulders.
The scene makes sense considering the control issues JYJ had with SM and how SM is always breathing down their neck.
The comparison of this scene can be made when we see Jaejoong half bare (with no snake ~controlling~ his movements) moving around freely and we can see his through self ((half naked coughs)).
Which is another suggestion to the main theme, freedom.
All in all, the entire album is a pure work of art.
No matter what we say about the music video, it's Jaejoong's damn music video and he can do whatever he wants.
We see how he have grown up from the scared innocent boy ((in the beginning of the video/lost in the snowy woods)) to the strong & confident man he is now, going against the netizens ((bcos they are mean people)) and probably still not caring what anyone thinks because he's a fucking sex god and can do whatever he wants
And yours truly even bought her own Jaejoong album!11!!! ((cue hysterical screaming and ugly sobbings))
Hence, my ~review~ on Jaejoong's album is doneeeee \o/
I must apologize to my readers for allowing dusts and flies in this blog and not updating.
It's my graduating year (yayyy!) and i'm extremely busy with classes and studies and what not.
But rest assure, i'll still do my best to post once in a while.
However, if you want to keep up with updates on my social life (coughs) feel free to follow me on twitter where i ramble about how hard studying is and other personal stuffs.
As you all know, it has come to the end of the first week of the new year.
And surprisingly, many controversies have arise in the k-pop industry, making us going crazy.
Is this a sign of the world coming to an end? ((gasp))
lol im just kidding
But yes. Too many controversies in the beginning of the year. Not a good start, ey?
So i'm just gonna talk about one of the first controversy.
Oh Yeon Seo and Lee Jang Woo currently issued to be couple. Does this mean that Oh Yeon Seo must leave We Got Married?
So as you all know. Oh Yeon Seo was reportedly to be dating Lee Jang Woo.
So what happens to our JoonSeo couple on WGM?
To be very honest, i'm not really a fan of WGM. I don't even watch it. So i can safely say that this news doesn't affect me that much.
But still, from my point of view, she can date anyone she wants and WGM is pretty much fake but maybe she should have waited until WGM ended?
I don’t like that this might affect Joon negatively in the way that it takes away his publicity time, but at the same time I fully support her right to be an adult woman and choose who and when she is going to date and live her life.
And wasn't Lee Jang Woo the guy who got paired up with Eunjung on WGM?
I'm kinda upset that Joon's publicity will be negatively affected.
BUT. But we don’t know the whole story, and who’s to say that she didn't let Joon know about it and he
agreed to let her come out and say she was dating even if it would affect him negatively? Thinking about it, I
find it hard to believe that he didn't know anything about this, because I like to think he and Yeonseo are at
least friends at this point, but who knows.
I see a number of fans raging at Yeonseo for "cheating" on Joon on my timeline and stuffs.
Tbh i find it dumb. We all know that WGM is mostly "fake" and "scripted". There's even a possibility that other/previous ~couples~ on the show might have been secretly dating behind the screen. It just so happens that Yeonseo was honest and upfront about it.
So accusing her of cheating on Joon and getting mad at her because it isn'tJoon she’s dating? That’s just stupid.
"Joon and Oh Yeon So's relationship may not be real, but he can still feel hurt about it"
Maybe. Maybe not.
From my point of view, if YeonSeo was dating even before the show start, she would have told Joon about it if he showed even the slightest interest for her?
But then again, this is all from my perspective.
Conclusion?
There's still hope for my Joonx Hyomin ship!!!11!
//gets bricked// lol im kidding
joon and yeonseo weren't really married ((lol duh))
fans need to stop bashing yeonseo for ~cheating~ on Joon
Yeonseo should have waited for the show to end before announcing this, causing many unnecessary dramas
people need to stop taking WGM so seriously
Of course, feel free to add in your own opinions about this matter ♥

Hey guise. ♥
Last Sunday was the finals for the Hello Korea Dance Battle!
It was a pretty intense day with so amazing performances that the judges (alongside with the emcee prolly) must have had such a hard time to choose the top 3! (((sarcasm)))
Anyways, it was an amazing day with so many entertaining performances. From Sir Vanity's party popper at the end and M5NIAC's sitting cross-legged on the floor throughout half of the song dance to Hyperflux's entertaining routine & of course TPIX's awesome performance.
So with that, congratulations to the top 3 winners, Infinite Degree, M5NIAC &TPIXfor clinching first, second & third respectively! ♥ ♥
And as you all know, yesterday was the last day of 2012.
So now let's welcome 2013! ♥
Spent my last day with Anna at her godsis's house for a celebration, which includes many intakes of junk food & late night swimming in the rain. ((i can smell a fever coming up TT))
2012 has been a wonderful year for me, despite the ups and downs it had.
But i'm always grateful for whatever life throws at me. Because it always teaches me a lesson, sometimes the hard way.
I'm grateful for all the wonderful memories. Meeting the amazing KDO peeps. Getting the opportunity to dance on stage with G.NA. Passing my N levels. Expanding my dance knowledge. Getting into the finals for teensupreme ((hohohoho)) and having to know GNOMIX. ((flails))
But of course, most importantly, creating this blog and having to met so many wonderful readers ((despite running such a lame blog orz))
So here's to a wonderful year ahead. May 2013 make you fly higher and higher, for you are a divine being whose only limitations are the one you decide. You have the power to set yourself free, and you will have a magnificent new year.
Don’t fear, be joyful, be loving, be grateful and follow your bliss.
Happy New Year, from the both of us ✧・゚: *✧・゚:* \(◕ω◕✿)/ *:・゚✧*:・゚✧
“May your coming year be filled with magic and dreams and good madness. I hope you read some fine books and kiss someone who thinks you’re wonderful, and don’t forget to make some art — write or draw or build or sing or live as only you can. And I hope, somewhere in the next year, you surprise yourself.”- Neil Gaiman
