march update on Friday, March 28, 2014
oh wow hello there it's been so long
i don't even know where to start... hmm.. let's see
i haven't been attending any events, sad to say. the past few month have been pretty hectic for me, from the release of the O Level results, to the JAE postings and everything.
im just really thankful for all the people that had stood by me through everything, giving me all their love and support (insert emotional eezah here)
so im proud to announce i'll be attending RP's Media Production and Design course in April yayyy
besides that, i've been taking an interest in B.A.P recently (cue audible gasps)
aha ha ha ha ha blame yongguk idek what happened
of course, me and Anna will most probably be attending B.A.P's LOE concert in Singapore sooooo hope to see some of y'all there!
anyway, i got my aztec cardigan from @dressedupdolls/shopdud.com in case you guys are wondering
super friendly and efficient people and the items there are ridiculously cheap im not even kidding
do support them and splurge all your money on them bc it's totally worth it trust me im a blogger
my life's pretty boring right now
i'm just gonna end this post with a dance cover of 2NE1's new song, COME BACK HOME
me and my friend learnt it within a day
it's just the chorus anyway so /ahem/
thank you & enjoy!
(do follow my tumblr / instagram / twitter yay)
DECEMBER UPDATES on Tuesday, December 17, 2013
it's been a week full of fun-filled activities yay
and by fun-filled activities i meant lying down on my couch watching Adventure Time, How I Met Your Mother, Friends, and recently the Bonnie and Clyde miniseries oyeahhhh
(can i just quick mention how amazing and gorgeous Emile Hirsch is holy shit)
so anyway, if you guys had no idea, Gold 90.5fm recently held a drive-in movie that was held somewhere near the F1 grandpit. idk it's some huge ass space and yeah
it's not a free event, if that's what you were wondering. My dad won the tickets in some lucky draw and i got dragged along and that's how i ended up spending the next 3 hours of my day going to this event, trying out the photobooth with my mum, getting free milo and popcorn and watching Pacific Rim on top of the hood of my dad's car (which i was surprised he didn't make a fuss out of it bc guys and cars and the no touchy or die rule)
although the movie was quite boring and i wasn't paying attention most of the time, it was an amazing experience because you could only see this in movies or America or in those late 90s kind of thing. A huge shoutout to the organizers for letting us experience this wonderful event (that should be organized more often because it's cool and you can brag to your friends on instagram and twitter kind of thing)
just a quick filler, went cycling with Anna at the Tampines Sun Plaza park and i got the EA$Y shirt from @shopaddiction's flea at CHIJMES last week
do check them out on instagram they have like amazing clothes at quite a cheap price (Y)
and yea thats about it
xoxo, Eezah
RED CAMP 2013 on Tuesday, November 26, 2013
wow red such camp
so yes, i spent 3 days of the weekdays attending Ngee Ann Poly's Red Camp 2013 in celebration of the end of my O levels yay
considering that me and my friends went for TPRAWKS the previous year, we decided to try NP's this time.
to summarize it, it wasn't really that fun as i had expected 4/10 would not recommend
let me elaborate from here
firstly it was pretty disorganized (im not too sure for the other groups but mine was pretty messed up)
during the tour to the health science school, we couldn't really spend so much time exploring the courses and activities that were prepared, like when we were at the anatomy section (or smth????) we only had like less than a minute to visit the different booth???? and there were like so many cool booths (explore the parts of ur brain whats up)
my friend couldn't even finish trying out the CPR on the dummy before the student leader came and told us we have to move
and it sucks so bad bc my friend was rly interested in the course (i wasnt rly that keen but body parts are cool lets be honest)
oh wait thats not all
so after rushing everyone out and gathering all the campers outside the school, you know what we did?
we learnt fucking camp cheers how cool is that!!!1!11!!!
guys that's not cool ok not cool at all bc learning about the course ur interested in > learning fucking redundant camp cheers anytime anyday
speaking of cheers, the cheer that you would hear the most would probably be "campers hurry up close the gap" "lets move it" "faster guys"
im not even kidding
however it was a 7/10 would recommend for me for the pretty and friendly and crazy and hyper SLs because lets face it the only good thing about the camp was the SLs
plus you get to see the SLs from all the 5 tribes put up a performance during the camp finale for the campers (or their tribes) and it was like the best thing ever bc it was really entertaining and fun and i can honestly say i truly enjoyed myself during all of the 5 performances
it was quite sad tho because they had to perform two times due to the abundance of time before dinner but i rly appreciate the effort
but hey im sure despite their exhaustion they still enjoyed performing for the campers so yay
and the bond that you share with the SLs after the camp is truly (Y) like i could see a few of my SLs tearing up during the finale it was really touching to see how they get attached to the tribes within 3 days
moral of the story: go to tprawks
but im just a teenage blogger who cries over korean men way too much im not the police dont listen to me i dont care
but despite whatever camp you all decide to go to, without your lovely friends it wouldn't be a fun an enjoyable camp
so socialize with your classmates when you still have the chance ♥

(pictures taken from my instagram)
so look who decide to rise from the dead after a month woopwoop
speaking of the dead, it's Halloween Eve oh yeah
(too bad Singapore is too much of a part pooper and judgemental to celebrate it)
anyway, those pictures pretty much sums up my October
Yesterday was the anniversary of my birth, yay happy sweet seventeen to me! ♥
i got a new wallet from Dinah, a surprise celebration & cake from my lovely girls right after my Physics paper, a jar of cookies from my dad and a new earpiece from my sisters & mom ♥
which i think it's pretty cool since i lost my wallet some time ago (and was in need of a new one) and also my earpiece was in such a rotten condition
and thank you all for the lovely wishes on twitter/instagram/facebook! ✿✿
the saturday before the week of my birthday was spent celebrating with dearest Anna and her lovely classmates over at Clarke Quay
it was such an amazing experience (we took the last train to clarke quay holy shit) because more than half of the people there were all dressed up in different costumes and characters.
u could actually smell the Halloween feel in the air
there were so many kinds of costumes, from Miley Cyrus to The Avengers (i didnt see any Loki nor Thor tho :c) to holy priests and even the dancers from Step Up! (audible gasp)
for those who are too broke to spend their money on Halloween nights at USS or Sentosa, Clarke Quay is the next best thing to hang out (although you do need to pay if u want to enjoy yourself more in the clubs and such) and dress up in cool costumes and take pictures together yay!
aside that, it's two more weeks to the end of O levels, which means the start of my freedom! (already squealing in joy)
the journey had been smooth, i would say. there were hard papers and moderate papers, but life goes on and you can only pray that all the years of studying in secondary school would pay off
all in all, it was a fantastic birthday week (i suppose)
really grateful for all the wonderful things in my life ♥
speaking of wonderful things, ma Hong Kong readers where u at!
be sure to spot me & Anna at the MAMA 2013 at Hong Kong!
it's gonna be a blast, i can feel it ♥

BIG BANG @ F1 SINGAPORE GRAND PIX on Saturday, September 21, 2013
Yesterday, 20th September 2013 was the F1 Singapore Grand Pix and of course as you all may have already know, Big Bang was the performer for that night ♥
It was such a splendid night as we finally could see our OT5 performing on one stage, since it's been mostly occupied with GDYBRI solo activities lately
So it was finally nice to see an OT5 performance huhuhu ♥
The concert started off with them playing Fantastic Baby's music video on the big screen to hype up the audience, which worked because the next thing you know, you could see half of the audience jumping up and down, grooving along to the song.
And so the boys finally appeared on stage, performing the first song of the night, Tonight
Some of the iconic moments during the concert:
- Taeyang made a song about what he ate that day. And then started rapping "I ate chilli crab and nandos" and then asking the audience to rap along #why
- Seungri: I love Singapore!1!!1 ...(followed by an awkward silence).... I'm sorry my English is tewwiblee. But i can sing and dance in it! #imsure
- GD's konglish
- Seungri said shit (lol)
- Taeyang: Let's move on to the next stage i think we suck at talking #uguystried #AforEffort
- TOP's mini ~dance~ during Bad Boy (loljk the boy still can't dance)
- GD staring at Seungri while Seungri was singing his part during Fantastic Baby, and then tried to bite him (i wanted to cry)
- Todae moment: TOP violating Daesung's back while rapping his part during Fantastic Baby
- Seungri forgot his lines during Gara Gara Go
It was really refreshing to hear them perform some of the old OT5 songs, like Last Farewell, Lies and Gara Gara Go.
There's really too much g-ri moments during the concert i thought i was going to die from the overwhelming feels.
And yes, it has been confirmed that TOP is still alive and well. (snorts)
Sneak preview! (not really) GD did mentioned a new song and album coming out for OT5 hurray!
And Taeyang's album will be coming out soon.
Is that Big Bang domination i sense? hohohoho
All in all, it was a night spent well with great company and great music.
If Big Bang ever comes to your country, please dont hesitate to throw your money away an watch them because it's super worth it
And now i shall go sob aggressively while watching my fancams from last night

Hello hi hey.
I know, i know. It's been a few months since my last update after the mind-blowing concert by the G-Dragon.
I'm not sure if i've stated it before, but hey it doesn't hurt to say it again.
It's my final year this year, which means graduating year which means no more maths, chemistry, mALAY, you name it. (cue confetti and balloons)
However as the time goes by, my schedule gets heavier and heavier with constant revision and what not.
Basically my life will be revolved around books and revision for the next one month plus (until mid November, probably)
So until then, no updates or whatsoever.
or maybe it's just my lack of motivation or enthusiasm to update this blog (huehuehuehue)
But nevertheless, i managed to add some colour in this blog with my latest post, G-Dragon's Coup d'Etat (yay!)
(actually if it wasn't for his stupid amazing flawless comeback i would have left this webby dying but meh miracles happen) (and i really really rEALLY liked the music video)
In the meantime, do follow my twitter if you are keen to watch me cry over korean men and complain how hard life is or my instagram if you think my drawings and photos are naiseu ♥
Or you can always entertain yourself by stalking my previous posts if that suits your cup of tea.
Anyhow, please do stay around!
(psstt: i might be travelling to Seoul with Anna at the end of the year so do stick around and cry while waiting for our Seoul trip a.k.a the best blog post ever ♥)
Xoxo, Eezah ❁◕ ‿ ◕❁
Labels: someone pls stop me from replaying coup d'e tat im literally addicted to the song it's not even funny, update COUP DE' TAT on Tuesday, September 03, 2013
So after day/weeks of enduring endless teasing from Kwon Jiyong, the man himself has finally released his newest album, Coup d'ETat
Unlike the previous music video, Kim Jaejoong's Mine, which slaps you in the face with its many significant symbolisms, this music video from G-Dragon requires you to take a shovel and some patience to unravel the meanings behind the video.
So sit back, grab a cup of tea or something and watch me /try/ to explain this dark and ~creepy~ video.
(Just a disclaimer: The following paragraphs are merely my thoughts and opinions on the video. I'm not the director nor GD so i wouldn't know the real meanings behind this masterpiece of a video. So sit back, put your pitchforks and fire torches down and relax.)
First of all, this song is definitely one of a kind (hehehuehuehehe). It's not your usual skrillex dubstep techno music but more of a "makes you feel like holding a baseball bat and destroy everything in sight". Basically it's something you would hear upon entering a haunted house.
The title itself gives us a clue upon the message GD is trying to convey.
coup d'état (/ˌkuːdeɪˈtɑː/; plural: coups d'état), also known as a coup, a putsch, or an overthrow, is the sudden deposition of a government. (credits to Wikipedia)
In the beginning of the video, you can see a little (adorable, if i might add) boy in a standing position, staring at a boulder-structure (or probably his tombstone). This could represent a younger GD, all innocent and adorable, staring at his own death.
Moving on to the next scene where GD is seen in a room, similar to a dressing room with the lightbulb mirrors, going through cruel tortures such as the electric chair. It is no doubt and apparent enough that idols had to go through tortures (be it physically or mentally) throughout their career. In this case, the fame and glamour is the one physically torturing G-Dragon.
And here we see GD blindfolded and having bullets being fired at him. Instead of running away or dodging the bullets like a normal sane person would do, he calmly stood there, letting the bullets come at him. This isn't a question about his sanity but more of showing that he has become too immune to critics and haters constantly firing at him (and missing) that he simply chooses to close his eyes to them and continue doing what he does.
Around the 2 minute mark, the video unfolds to the next scene where you can see reporters being blindfolded and shoving their mikes desperately, trying to get any news they could lay their hands on with GD looking /gorgeously/ fierce and sitting in the middle. With their sight being covered, they could only rely on their hearing, thus not being able to clearly see the "news" they are trying to gather. In this case, they could only rely on the words they hear and not truly see him.
Moving on to the next scene that crept everyone out, the video shows his infamous Heartbreaker era, a.k.a the start of all scandals.
Instead of the usual white mask you see, it starts to cry black tears, tainting the clean and white surface of the mask.
And then you see GD taking out the white mask he had been wearing, revealing a black-painted GD. As we all would know, black is the mother of all negative emotions.
Conclusion: GD is no longer the pure, innocent GD you knew back during the Heartbreaker era. He's getting rid of the image you knew back then and revealing to you a new born (probably not new) Kwon Jiyong whether you like it or not. (refer back to his "death" in the beginning)
Which brings us to the ending.
GD is shedding off his skin, his past images and throwing it all behind, revealing a new skin and a fresher image.
So after throwing away his old image, in the same scene, we can see him throwing rocks at the huge wall, trying to break it down. Of course, after getting a new image, the next logical thing to do is to rise from the "dead" and show himself to the world, no? (which includes giving everyone around the world a possibly heart attack from his new "scary" album, as some would perceive as)
At last, a new and drop dead gorgeous Kwon Jiyong can be seen standing in front of his once tombstone, revealing to the world his new and refreshing image instead of the old and wrinkly self we had seen in the beginning of the video.
And to end it all off,
"the revolution will not be televised; the revolution is in your mind; the revolution is here"
translation: the old G-Dragon is dead and here arise a new G-Dragon ready to rock your world and there's nothing you can do about it.
Putting aside all the deep symbolisms shit and all, writing this so-called review has made me think, just how much torture and pain did he went through to have produce such a wonderful masterpiece?
Of course no one would ever know and it was a rhetorical question. But it's just something to ponder about.
Now would you excuse me, i shall continue shamelessly abuse the replay button and listen to this amazing song for the next few weeks until i get bored of it.
