wow red such camp
so yes, i spent 3 days of the weekdays attending Ngee Ann Poly's Red Camp 2013 in celebration of the end of my O levels yay
considering that me and my friends went for TPRAWKS the previous year, we decided to try NP's this time.
to summarize it, it wasn't really that fun as i had expected 4/10 would not recommend
let me elaborate from here
firstly it was pretty disorganized (im not too sure for the other groups but mine was pretty messed up)
during the tour to the health science school, we couldn't really spend so much time exploring the courses and activities that were prepared, like when we were at the anatomy section (or smth????) we only had like less than a minute to visit the different booth???? and there were like so many cool booths (explore the parts of ur brain whats up)
my friend couldn't even finish trying out the CPR on the dummy before the student leader came and told us we have to move
and it sucks so bad bc my friend was rly interested in the course (i wasnt rly that keen but body parts are cool lets be honest)
oh wait thats not all
so after rushing everyone out and gathering all the campers outside the school, you know what we did?
we learnt fucking camp cheers how cool is that!!!1!11!!!
guys that's not cool ok not cool at all bc learning about the course ur interested in > learning fucking redundant camp cheers anytime anyday
speaking of cheers, the cheer that you would hear the most would probably be "campers hurry up close the gap" "lets move it" "faster guys"
im not even kidding
however it was a 7/10 would recommend for me for the pretty and friendly and crazy and hyper SLs because lets face it the only good thing about the camp was the SLs
plus you get to see the SLs from all the 5 tribes put up a performance during the camp finale for the campers (or their tribes) and it was like the best thing ever bc it was really entertaining and fun and i can honestly say i truly enjoyed myself during all of the 5 performances
it was quite sad tho because they had to perform two times due to the abundance of time before dinner but i rly appreciate the effort
but hey im sure despite their exhaustion they still enjoyed performing for the campers so yay
and the bond that you share with the SLs after the camp is truly (Y) like i could see a few of my SLs tearing up during the finale it was really touching to see how they get attached to the tribes within 3 days
moral of the story: go to tprawks
but im just a teenage blogger who cries over korean men way too much im not the police dont listen to me i dont care
but despite whatever camp you all decide to go to, without your lovely friends it wouldn't be a fun an enjoyable camp
so socialize with your classmates when you still have the chance ♥
