[NEWS] T-ara Says, “Our Role Model for “Cry Cry” is TVXQ’s Masculinity” on Saturday, November 19, 2011 T-ara is back with manly charms. T-ara appeared on Mnet’s M Countdown on November 17 and performed their new song “Cry Cry.” T-ara performed both the original and ballad versions of the song on stage. When they performed the ballad version of the song, T-ara members looked emotional yet charismatic. Soyeon and Ji Yeon’s attractive voices captivated people’s ears. When they performed the original version of the song, T-ara gave a powerful performance and Hyomin looked like a warrior while she was dancing with a cane. The choreography for the song includes a pantomime of wiping tears with a surprise twist, where they take off their jackets and throw them away. A spokesperson for T-ara says, “T-ara practiced the powerful masculine choreography to appeal intensely on stage. Their appealing and androgynous look was modeled after TVXQ”.
