Our OOTD ♥
The building looked like it exploded into flames OTL
hey guise ♥
So i spent this year's NDP celebration with Anna, of course. And tbh, this is the first time i'm celebrating smth with a friend, and not with my family. Lol
At first we were supposed to attend the REAL celebration at the floating platform since we had the tickets. But my sisters wanted to go -__- And since there's only 2 tickets, we didn't really had any choice and just had to give the tickets to them.
So with that failed, we decided to just go up to the Esplanade rooftop and enjoy the fireworks.
But noooo. Some asshole rich dude just had to rent the entire place for a private event, depriving nearly 1/3 of the nation from a nice view of the fireworks.
Well, i hope your event crashed and burned.
Plan B?
Join the rest of the nation and settle down on a grass patch and wait for the fireworks.
It was quite crowded, i must say. All the best spots taken up.
We had no choice but to settle down on an empty spot at a grass patch near a chinese restaurant, a few feet away from some stage.
We managed to get a clear view of the fireworks. Was a little stress over capturing good shots of the fireworks, but after a while, we just set aside our cameras and just enjoyed the fireworks.
After that, we went to Dhoby Gaut and had dinner at Just Acia to end off our day.
Had the spicy chicken set, as usual ♥
The day was rather simple but it was still an eventful day for us.
Seeing how almost the entire nation gathering, scattering around the place to catch a glimpse of the celebration.
And how the fireworks never fail to put us in awe every single year.
Yep. It was an amazing day for us ♥
Looking forward to the next year's celebration and the many years ahead!
